Whether you're printing at Colorama or elsewhere, this consultation helps you prepare your publication for production.

Together we will review your files, discuss paper stocks, ink colours, binding methods, edition size and production planning, and help you identify the most suitable production route for your project.

We will also point out any areas that still require preparation before printing and recommend the most appropriate next steps. Depending on your project, this might include file preparation services, technical 1:1 sessions, workshops, or external resources.

Perfect if you've already completed your artwork and would like an experienced second pair of eyes before moving into production.

The first step of every production

The Production Consultation is the starting point for every new production project at Colorama.

It allows us to get to know your project, understand your goals, review your files and recommend the most suitable production process before printing begins.

By discussing your project early on, we can avoid unnecessary revisions later and make sure production runs as smoothly as possible.

Please note

This consultation assumes your artwork already exists.

It focuses on planning your production and reviewing your project.

It does not include teaching file preparation, colour separations, Photoshop, Procreate or Risograph workflows.

If your consultation exceeds the booked time significantly, additional time is charged at €95/hour.
