Two-week festival on self-publishing
Many Hands Make brings together artists, designers and publishers to share methods and insights into artistic design and print practices.
Come learn new skills in print & digital design, illustration and print-production during hands-on artist-led workshops.
Apply that knowledge during an open access week at the Colorama studio, where you can produce a print or publication project with our guidance!
Learn new skills, meet like-minded people and make your art in a space that offers the freedom to experiment and the structure to finish.
Structure
Artist-led Workshops
14th - 18th July
We have invited some of our favorite designers, artists and illustrators to teach you their personal techniques and methods during special artist-led workshops. These workshops will help you refine your artistic style in a variety of mediums.
Production Workshops
19th - 20th July
A crash-course weekend of print- and book- production. Led by the print & bookbinding technicians at Colorama studio, these workshops will give you the necessary skills and knowledge to produce your own prints, zines, books or any papery object.
Studio Time
21th - 25th July
Realise your printed project during a week of open-access studio time! With guidance from the Colorama studio technicians, you can book time to riso-print, book-bind, and finish your very own posters, art-prints, or zines or the artworks you have created during the Artist-led workshops
Colorama Birthday
26th July
Join us at Literarisches Colloquium am Wannsee to celebrate 10 years of Colorama. You can expect readings by Colorama artists, craft-stations, a concert, a small zine fair by Colorama & Friends, an Art Raffle and of course food & drinks.
