Riso-printing: Faux CMYK & custom color profiles

We are offering this workshop as part of the Riso School and besides that currently only as a 1:1 or 2:1 session!

Group Sessions will be scheduled again for 2027.

1:1 sessions are for one person only and take 3 hours
2:2 sessions are for two people and take 3,5 hours.

Learn how to print a Riso-reproduction of your photograph or scanned original artwork (paintings, drawings, collages etc.) in the Faux-CMYK technique.

What will I learn?
You will learn how to print with the Riso from digital files, get an introduction into simple color-separation, halftones, angles and how inks mix together.
In the second (optional) part of the workshop you will learn how to create custom color profiles. Custom color profiles can highlight special characteristics of your artworks and take your final prints from a reproduction to a new artwork which highlights the color range of Risography.

Who is this for?
For people wanting to make reproductions of their photography / original art and or who are interested in spot color printing and unique color profiles.

What should I bring?
Please bring your laptop. Photoshop is mandatory for this workshop.

What do I take home?
Several tests and 10 copies of one A3 Artprint in up to 4 colors.
